Procurement of Mobile Equipment: Flatbed Trucks with Tipper and Superstructure for Waste Collection

The Region of Korca, Albania, with its 28 communes as member administrations of KRWM, is faced with uncontrolled waste dumping. In order to take care of public health and to secure a sustainable development, the Albanian Government and local governments in the Region of Korca decided to implement a modern Solid Waste Management System for the whole Region with high collection coverage and efficiency and a central sanitary landfill. Future waste management will be carried out by the Korca Region Waste Management Company (KRWM), a shareholding company of the local governments of Korca Region. The project will be financed via a grant from the KfW Development Bank, Germany.

Future waste management will be carried out by the Korca Regional Waste Management Company (KRWM), a shareholding company of the local governments of Korca Region. The project will be financed via a grant from the KfW Development Bank, Germany.
One part of the project comprises the Execution of Works for Improvement and Upgrading of Operation and Environmental Conditions of Selected Existing Landfills.
The Korca Region Waste Management Company now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the execution of works. The works are grouped in 7 lots named:
Lot 1 - Korca Landfill
Lot 2 - Erseke Landfill
Lot3 – Maliq Landfill
Lot4 - Bilisht Old Landfill
Lot5 - Bilisht New Landfill
Lot6 - Pojan Landfill
Lot7 - Pogradec Landfill
Bidders are obligated to bid for all lots (Offers of all lots and sub items of one lot must be offered, otherwise the offer will be rejected).
Interested companies can obtain the tender documents from KRWM via email by writing an application letter and submit their bids to KRWM not later than
27 September 2011, 10.00 local time.

The Korca Region Waste Management Company now invites sealedbids from eligible bidders for the supply of equipment for waste management.
The mobile equipment is grouped in 2 lots named:
Lot 1: Collection Containers and Bins
- Collection containers 1,100 l, metal (including spare parts)
- Small flat bed trucks for waste collection (including lifting devices and spare parts)
- 1 Truck for wheel loader and optional trailer
- 1 Wheel loader
- 1 Pick-up vehicle
Bidders are free to bid for one lot or both lots. However, bidders are obligated to bid for all items within one lot (All sub items of one lot have to be offered, otherwise the offer will be rejected).
