The Municipality of Korça is pleased to announce the International Competition for the Master Plan of the City Center. Composed of public spaces, parks, living apartments, commercial and administrative facilities, cultural heritage monuments, the City Center Area has a significant potential for becoming a premier public space, a leading tourist attraction for the City as well as a modern area of living and commercial premises.

Toward the City Center Master Plan we aim to foster the transformation, aesthetical melioration, functional attributes, and city regeneration respecting also those values that distinguish Korça from other cities.

The number of applications for the first phase of Korca City Center Master Plan Competition is 12.

All the applications were thoroughly reviewed and commented by the Evaluation Committee, on the 14th and 15th of May, which then prepared the shortlist of Stage II finalists. The Evaluation Committee rated the 12 applications on the basis of the Competition Brief principal evaluation criteria. By the end of this process, the Evaluation Committee came out with 5 (five) short-listed finalists:
